For the 2020 digital Festival of Archaeology, University of Leicester Archaeological Services (ULAS) produced three self-guided walks around some of Leicestershire’s significant heritage sites. The walks are mobile friendly, and can also be freely downloaded and printed off. They can be accessed here.
- Burrough Hill Iron Age Hillfort Self-Guided Walk – a 1.2 mile self-guided circular walk taking you around the hillfort and telling you what we know so far about its history and archaeology.
- Searching for the Knights Hospitaller Self-Guided Walk – a 1 mile self-guided walk taking you around Castle Hill, the main archaeological site in Castle Hill Country Park, and telling you what is known so far about its history and archaeology.
- Buried Bouskell Self-Guided Circular Walk – a 0.5 mile self-guided walk taking you around Bouskell Park in Blaby and telling you what we known so far about its history and archaeology.
