LUTTERWORTH COMMUNITY EXCAVATION
Sunday 2 & Monday 3 July
The Lutterworth Fieldworking and Archaeological Group previously found an unusually numerous quantity of broken clay tobacco pipes in a 1 metre square test pit in the town. They now plan to excavate a 4 metre trench (or maybe more) to clarify this anomaly.
