Emeritus Professor of Archaeology at the University of Oxford
Gary Lock is an Emeritus Professor of Archaeology at the University of Oxford. He has researched and taught archaeology for many years specialising in the Iron Age and hillforts. He has excavated hillforts in England, Wales, Spain and Italy and was co-director of the very successful Atlas of Hillforts of Britain and Ireland project.
